Ren, moves to a small farming town with his Mom, where dancing has been outlawed. This is because a local preacher lost his son who was partying, and decided dance was diabolical. Then the preacher’s daughter falls in love with Ren, but her past boyfriend tries to discredit Ren so there’s a lot of conflict, but eventually Ren wins everyone over and the show ends with the known Footloose dance – audience encouraged to join in!
